    Shipping Container Transport

JKG Shipping Containers has multiple locations across QLD and Northern NSW. Hence we’re able to deliver quickly and cheaply. In addition, your container will usually arrive within a few days after payment. That being said, weather can sometimes delay arrival. Got a timeframe to meet? Let us know and we will see if we can fast track delivery for you.

The delivery method we use varies depending on the type of container and where we’re delivering too. In addition, it is vital that you inform us of the preferred door direction for your container before it is loaded on the truck. Reason being is because this will determine how the container is unloaded upon delivery.

    Tilt-Tray Truck

Tilt-trays are our most popular transport option. These trucks usually transport 20ft shipping containers. However, we also offer larger tilt-trays that can shift 40ft containers. Essentially, the truck will drive or reverse into position. The tray of the truck then tilts up and slides the container down the back of the tray and onto the ground. For a 20ft container, at least 17m in length and 3m in width is required when unloading.

    Side Loading Truck

These trucks are commonly used to deliver 40 foot shipping containers. Basically, the truck features a crane at either end that offloads the container onto the drivers’ side of the truck. Moreover, side loading trucks need ample space for delivery. 15m in length and 7m in width is required for delivery to take place.

    HIAB Truck

This method suits delivery sites where space is limited. HIAB trucks feature a mounted crane that can position containers on various angles, over a fence and even on a platform. In addition, these trucks are capable of offloading onto either side of the vehicle.
